A NEW WAVE OF LEARNING
Dear Parents
We would like to thank you for all your support, kind messages and your patience over the past week whilst we successfully rescheduled over 300 students and 25 tutors to our online platform. We are very proud and grateful to our team. Without their amazing 'can do' attitude this would not have been possible.
In this update, we are excited to announce the launch of our 'Learn like a Genius™' and 'Junior Entrepreneur' online courses in addition to our April Holiday update and Term 2 programmes. Our goal is to keep your child's mind stimulated, engaged and challenged during this time.
We are very grateful for the opportunity to support you and your child through this self-isolation period. We have received extremely positive feedback about our new lesson space and look forward to continuing to deliver your child's personalised learning plan in the safety of your own home.
We wish that all our families remain safe and healthy and have a well deserved rest over the Easter Break.

April Holiday Programme – Cancelled
Term 2 – commencing Tuesday April 14th
As schools now have varying holiday and term start dates, we have made the decision to start Term 2 on Tuesday 14th April.
If your child is still on holiday during this period and you would like additional sessions please let us know.

Term 2 commences Tuesday 14th April until Friday 3rd July
Please note your child’s current session will automatically roll over unless we are notified.
If you know of any scheduled online commitments that your child has that may affect their booked time please let us know as soon as possible.
If you would like to change your date, time and/or subject please complete the following form.
Because we have reduced classes to 1:1 or 1:2, at this stage, there will be no ‘make up’ sessions for missed sessions. Your child's tutor will wait for up to 15 minutes for your child to join the session. If they do not join within 15 minutes this will be noted as a missed ‘billable’ session. For any urgent technical issues please contact Paul on 021 649 462. Alternatively please email learn@zesteducation.co.nz.
We can appreciate that COVID19 may be causing some uncertainty to many of our families financial situations. If you would like to discuss payment terms please don't hesitate to contact us.

Begin Bright - Preparation for School (3-5 year olds)
All sessions are postponed until further notice due to Covid-19.
The Begin Bright team have developed some great free learning activities especially for your little learners to get their brains active and keep them out of trouble! Based on our existing preschool programmes, they have made these easy for you to guide your child through the activities.

Tutor Updates
One of our amazing tutors Tamsin Rob, who is also a biomedical PhD student, has recently joined a new clinical testing laboratory tasked with testing hundreds of samples a day for COVID-19. This is one of the three new laboratories which has opened to increase New Zealand's testing capacity. Tamsin says that it is brilliant to have the opportunity to put her laboratory skills to use and help with our country's fight against COVID-19.

I want people to know how amazing the service you offer to our children is. You always provide reminders, keep us fully notified, your caring to our children’s needs, and nothing is ever a problem to you. This is very unusual in todays world, and the longer Tori has been with you the more I realise what you offer is exceptional unlike what we have had previous!
