CORONAVIRUS - HOW DID WE GET HERE?

 
It is Spring 2020 and the trees are blossoming and slowly but surely Covid-19 is bringing the world to a halt.

However, JFA Environmental Planning continue to be open for business.  To read our safe working protocols and our approach to the crisis click here.

With this pandemic, the acceleration of global warming and winter floods in the UK, it is starting to feel like the end of days. As environmental scientists we have seen the trends that have brought us to this difficult place.  Will the virus impel the changes the world needs, to make to reduce the risk of future pandemics?

WHAT IS THE FUTURE OF OUR GARDENS?

Jaquelin Clay the DIrector of JFA was interviewed by Stephanie Mahon for her article on the future of our gardens, published in The Telegraph on Saturday, 4th April 2020.

As we prepare for climate change, increased housing density and adjust to living a more sustainable lifestyle, this will have a knock on effect on what gardens should look like in the future.

WHAT WILL BE THE IMPACT OF COVID-19 ON ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANCY?

TBH Holdings Ltd have been successful in gaining planning permission for a transport hub on the ridge-line facing the AONB boundary near Rochester.  JFA provided landscape and ecology support for the application.
