Don't forget to join us TONIGHT for our livestreamed Good Friday Service at 7 pm and then again this Sunday at 9 am for our Easter service! God has thankfully provided the technology for us to "gather" online instead so be sure to tune in!

The easiest method is to go to www.valleybiblechurch.org/live and click the link provided. However, there are a couple of other ways to access the livestream:

Subscribe to our YouTube channel on your smart TV, Apple TV, Roku, Chromecast, Kindle, etc.

For the time being the church is managing one Zoom account for church-related activities. If you would like to utilize our Zoom account you will need to schedule it with the office. Please email vbc@valleybiblechurch.org and let us know what date and time you are looking to hold your meeting on.

As you may have seen through the VBC Prayer Chain or on Maureen's Caring Bridge site, Maureen has entered hospice care with Bill, Maddie, Liam and her sister at her side.
In addition to your prayers, Maddie and the family would greatly appreciate meals over the next couple of weeks.

As you are by now well aware, COVID-19 has begun to impact everyone. Not only are many in our community at high risk for this infection, but many are impacted financially or socially by this crisis. We (both individually and as a church) are called to be a light to those in our community and to care for the poor, vulnerable, and sick just as Jesus did.

For this reason, we are forming the Coronavirus Support Team. We want to support those who are at high risk for catching the virus so that they can shelter safely at home without unnecessary public exposure.

Who we will care for:

Elderly
People with medical conditions making them more vulnerable
Those actively being quarantined
People who need encouragement during social distancing

What we are looking for in a volunteer :

Those at low risk for being seriously affected by COVID-19
Those who are not interacting with lots of people on a regular basis (A cashier at Hannaford would not be a good candidate)
Those who have time to make phone calls/meals/run errands

Other News:

Mid Vermont Christian School (MVCS) seeks dynamic teachers with demonstrated ability to integrate the Christian worldview into all that transpires in and out of the classroom. This person will work successfully with a range of students, be verse in research-based practices and subject matter for the specific position, and seek to become part of our learning community. Outstanding candidates will be motivational to encourage students to love the Lord and love to learn, and place a high value on communication with parents as we seek to partner with parents as they raise their children.
