New from PEER Physics
Check out these new tools to support your teaching journey
Webinar 1: PEER Physics 101
Thanks to everyone who attended our first webinar. In this event, we discussed the PEER Physics Learning Cycle, resources available on the website, and Chapter W.
Now available for Chapters C, F, G and W. These include links to simulations, experiment video clips, and summarizing questions and space for students to record their responses to starred laboratory questions. Have each group create their own copy and use these for synchronous or asynchronous collaboration.
"Zoombombing" has been an issue for some organizations. Please review the links and suggestions below if you are using Zoom or some other platform to meet synchronously with students.
Take note of these events to collaborate and learn from one another
Office Hours
Come get your questions answered, share resources, and chat with fellow PEER Physics teachers. Office hours will take place through Zoom every Monday and Thursday from 10-11 am MT.
Webinar 2: Student Collaboration in Remote Settings
In this webinar we'll explore ways to incorporate student collaboration using virtual tools and the PEER Physics Learning Cycle. Webinar 2 will take place through Zoom on Tuesday, April 21 from 2-3:30 pm MT.
"With my experience with flipped and blended learning techniques, I can add to the already robust resources to better meet the needs of my students using Explain Everything or QuickTime Screencast. With these tools I can do a "walk through" lab video, explaining to students what I focus on while watching the lab videos."
