Dear <<First Name>>

This has been the Lentiest Lent we have ever Lented!

We are now in Holy Week, about to enter the Triduum - the Three Holy Days of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Day. Many people are suffering. The world is united in an unprecedented way. Many people are missing public church services, funerals, the Eucharist,...

Here are the traditional services for Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Day adapted for your household (just click the link). There are more encouraging resources below.

On the website, over the next week or so, I will reflect on Holy Saturday (surprisingly relevant!), and in the Easter Season, I will reflect on this new world we have started heading into.

May God richly bless you and yours - and others through you. I pray for you. Please pray for me.

Safe at home, breaking the chain of Covid19, and thereby saving lives, what can we learn from the great Christian spiritual tradition, nourished in monasteries, to help our inner journey at this time?

Some Resources in a Covid19 World

Coronavirus solitude self-isolation and spirituality
Streaming services, online spiritual resources in coronavirus times
New Zealand Prayer Book Daily Prayer
NZ in lockdown
Covid 19 moves churches into the Third Millennium
Spiritual Communion
Carthusians Covid-19 and Communion
Learning from Hermits in a Covid19 World
This was my video message to my IRL community, filmed when we were told New Zealand was heading into 4 weeks of lockdown.
Celebrating Eucharist is a free online guidebook to contemporary worship with resources you can use or adapt. It can also be used in discussion groups as well as individual reflection.

The Online Chapel is also a place to go for prayer, reflection, or just to light a digital candle.

Please pray for all who are part of the community around this website. And know there are people committed to praying for you.
