WALRC's  new YouTube channel allows us to share our on-ground action with you!

WALRC is delighted to release its first Virtual Discussion Group topic - Exploring summer crops on the south coast with Manypeaks farmer Kim Lester.  WALRC brought together 16  Manypeaks local farming businesses plus our four research partners so they could meet by Zoom last Friday. The  session went on to discuss a range of livestock production limiting issues with local vet, Jess Shilling. We will present you all the good stuff that Jess had to challenge us with,  in our next series.

However, to experience a virtual discussion group and get an insight into what's going on in Manypeaks in the summer cropping space, click here. And, be sure to tell us what you think once you've had a listen and a look.

We want to know: What are your experiences with summer/autumn crops like Raphno? What you've learned? And, most importantly, what you reckon you still need to learn in this space? The final bit is really important to us, as we prepare our research priorities to feed up to MLA.

Meanwhile, if you would like WALRC to host a virtual discussion group in your region, please send us your expression of interest. For optimal discussion and interaction we recommend a maximum 16 farming businesses, by invitation only, but comfortable enough to know that we will share the best content with a wider WALRC audience.
