April 2020

The library is currently closed until further notice due to the Covid-19 pandemic. If you have books out, please keep them at home as we are not checking book bins right now. All due dates have been extended and there will no be fines.

Email is the best way to reach us right now publiclibrary@invermere.net or you can message us on Facebook or Instagram.

Library staff are missing all of our patrons (and the books), and we are figuring out ways to continue serving our community during this time. Read on to see our online resources, virtual story time, a poetry contest, and more.

Easter Egg Decorating Idea
I found this on Pinterest and wanted to do it at the library this month, but if you have shaving cream and food colouring, you can do it at home! You can also place a piece of cardstock on your shaving cream/food colour mixture, then scrape it off for a cool abstract work of art!

Check out our Pinterest page for more craft ideas you can do at home! STEAM projects too!

Tumblebooks is another e-book database and they have extended free access to all libraries and patrons during this time. There are a TON of great kids books on here from picture books to YA novels. There is also a wide audiobook and romance selection for adult readers!
