I honestly don't even know how to start this. There's a ton of news, but also no news? As of March 16th, Walt Disney World has been closed. They initially said until the end of March, but have since changed to be closed "Until Further Notice." We're all feeling a level of uncertainty, and know that literally everyone is just going with the flow with this thing.

Some things we do know though, Disney has dining reservations closed until June 1st. They may be projecting being open by then, but as I said before, we all have no idea what is going on and will change with COVID-19.

Since Disney closed, they have been doing some great things though. They donated 150,000 ponchos to MedShare and 100,000 N95 masks to New York, Florida, and California. You can read all about it here.

Additionally they donated a ton of food to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. You can read about it here.

As of April 3rd, the whole state of Florida is in a stay-at-home order for 30 days. Which means our May 2nd sailing on the Disney Fantasy is likely to not happen as the order lifts May 3rd. We've heard from tons of our readers, and some of my clients, and know that everyone is upset about having to cancel or reschedule their trips, and it's totally acceptable to be upset about that!

That being said, we have been kind of enjoying our forced time away from the parks. Corey and I finally planted the garden we put off for years, and by the time this quarantine is over I'll be ready to do a RunDisney half marathon 😂.

I want to send a huge shoutout and thank you to all of you on the front lines during this. Our friends working in grocery stores, nurses, doctors, any of you essential workers out there dealing with the general public, we thank you!! And for our Cast Member friends who are currently out of work, we can't wait to see you again.

This month we're keeping it pretty simple. We've been busy doing at home recipes and I joined The Lost Bros for a podcast!

Perkins Thai Noodles at home!

One of our favorite options, which can be at Skipper Canteen in Magic Kingdom, is the Perkins Thai Noodles. We mastered making it at home and now have been basically living off these noodles.

Find the recipe here.

Chocolate Pudding Terrarium at home!

This one is special just for the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. You can find this guy at the Trowel & Trellis booth. It's an avocado based pudding that is creamy and chocolatey and easy to make!

Find the recipe here.

Lighthouse Sandwich at home!

Another Magic Kingdom option, this sandwich can be found at Columbia Harbour House. It's been pretty hot here in Florida recently, and this light and refreshing sandwich has really hit the spot for lunch.

Find the recipe here.

More at home recipes!

On our blog you can find more options like, Felucian Garden Spread from Docking Bay 7, Crispy Tofu Bowls from Satu'li Canteen, Tonga Toast, and the Loaded Greek Nachos from the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival pre-2019.

Find all of our recipes here.

I joined The Lost Bros for a podcast!
