We could all use a laugh.

I talked to Michael Malice the other day, who was in good spirits but who, quite understandably, is shaken by what is going on in New York, where he has lived ever since he moved to the United States.

Even apart from all the chaos, just to walk around New York City and find it consistently empty must be bizarre and disorienting.

And to be isolated from others for an unspecified period of time -- awful.

So Michael and I decided to do something to lift the spirits of the folks who read and listen to us.

Tomorrow (Saturday) night we're putting on a livestream event, along with comedian and podcaster Dave Smith and Los Angeles County Libertarian Party chair Angela McArdle, and it's going to be a ton of fun.

We'll be playing the hysterical game Quiplash -- which, I assure you, you can learn in under 30 seconds -- and you can not only watch, but you can also play along with us on your phone.

And although the event is free, we'll be raising money for the New York charity City Meals on Wheels over the course of the night.

I promise we're all going to have a blast, and beat the isolation blues together.
