A tasty future in store
Before the lockdown, Horticultural Manager Tony Danford got started on the new edible hedge.
This is part of our 10 year resilience project to include more edible plants, fruit bushes and and nut trees together with drought tolerant planting in the park. We have a good cross section to keep the park going from strength to strength in the years to come...and we are only getting started.

Coronavirus – let's look out for each other
- Stay at home and stay safe.
- Only leave home for essential shopping or medical needs.
- Or exercise once a day.
- Only be outside with one other person you live with.
- Stay at least 2 metres away from other park users.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in a bin. Sneeze into the bend of your arm if you can't get to a tissue.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
Some of us might be feeling more anxious at this time. Try to avoid social media speculation. You'll find good quality info on websites such as the Mental Health Foundation, Diabetes UK, Asthma UK and The British Heart Foundation.
