Nanofibers to Protect Medics
Using a 3D printer and nanometric fibers coated with antiseptics, Prof. Eyal Zussmanandcollaborators from the Galilee Medical Center have introduced a sticker for surgical masks. Named “Maya” the surgical nano-sticker will improve protection and neutralization of viruses.
A system to measure vital signs of patients to detect COVID-19 from a distance has been developed by Asst. Prof. Yonatan Savir in collaboration with the COVID-19 National Emergency Team of the Defense Ministry’s Directorate of Defense R&D (DDR&D) and Israeli industry. read more
