We do hope that you are all well and adjusting to the new normality.
Whilst schools are mostly shut and we are unable to deliver our workshops, BHee will be spending time developing resources that we hope will be useful to schools when things do return to 'normal'.
Please find below details of planned projects and also opportunities to shape the resources we produce.
Supporting Families with Outdoor Home Learning
Connecting with local nature has been proven to be beneficial to our physical and mental wellbeing. Its also a great way to learn all areas of the curriculum.
We have created a resource bank of 'Curriculum Ideas for Outdoor Home Learning' for KS1&2. Every week we will suggest one simple nature related activitiy for each curriculum area. No specialised resources or prior knowledge will be needed! We hope families will enjoy doing these activities in their gardens or on a walk as part of their daily exercise and schools may use with their key worker children. The first edition can be found here.
Can you help us get this resource out to families in your school?
New editions will be uploaded each Friday to the BHee website.
We can will also email you a weekly copy each Friday.

What environmental education resources would you like to see?
We will soon be putting time into updating the BHee website and creating resources to support schools in their sustainability work, engagement with the climate change agenda and with Eco-School awards.
We would like to hear from you. Do you have any suggestions about resources you would like to use?
How can we help you and other teachers embed environmental education in your school?
Please help us use this opportunity to make relvant and useful resources and email all suggestions here.
