3 Ways to Support Christ the King Financially
during this Time

On-line Giving
We strongly encourage parishioners about the importance of using one of the available online giving options to help the parish remain financially stable and sound during this time with no public Masses and no collections.  Parishioners can use the on-line giving tool FaithDirect that Christ the King is enrolled in.  Go to https://churchofchristtheking.org/online-giving to sign up for one time or recurring giving.  Any help you can provide is much appreciated.

Bank Bill Pay Services
For parishioners who want to avoid credit card and bank transactions fees, we also strongly encourage the free bank bill-payment services that many local banks offer.  For example, both Bank of America and Chase offer Bill Pay services that allow the account owner to set up a weekly automatic payment via check in a set amount to the parish.  This paper check is then mailed by the bank to the parish on the date the account holder sets.  We find that this works very well and is easy for most parishioners to set up and use.  If you have questions on how to set it up, call the online banking contact number with the bank where you maintain a checking account.

Mailing Check to the Office
Parishioners can also mail their Sunday envelopes directly to the Christ the King Parish Office.  If so, please send to:

Interfaith Food Pantry
and Resource Center

Christ the King has been committed to the Interfaith Food Pantry each month.  With our doors closed and things so different during these times, you may still want to help out as you do regularly or are looking for ways to help those struggling.  Here is some information received from the Director, Carolyn Lake.

We wanted to reach out to let you know that your neighbors in need are still receiving food – safely. We have changed the way we are distributing food are now offering drive-by service at both of our pantries. We continue to deliver food to our Mobile Network partners with proper precautions.  We are receiving an increasing number of requests for emergency food from the community and our network partners. Rest-assured, that without missing a beat, we are seeing to it that anyone in need in Morris County has the food they need. But we need your help.

We are now facing an unprecedented challenge as demand is picking up and we are bracing for an influx of unemployed workers. Now more than ever, please consider supporting our efforts in the following ways:

Consider making a financial donation now. Just yesterday, we spent $22,000 on food in one day to replenish our supply. Click here to Donate Now.

Join us for the online Silent Auction taking place as scheduled on April 17! You can register now by texting IFP2020 to 243-725. You’ll receive event updates and get a preview of the auction items. Please extend the invitation to your friends! the opportunity to participate is open to anyone with a mobile device.

Food Donations are needed. Food drives and supermarket donations are sparse.
Here is a list of most needed items and drop-off information.

The support of our community - local and virtual - is especially critical as this unpredictable crisis evolves. Stay well and take comfort knowing that your support is being put to good use feeding your neighbors in need who are particularly vulnerable at this time.

Pope Francis' Prayer for Protection and Help

We pray that our parish community stays safe and healthy! Join with Pope Francis in his prayer asking Mary to protect us during of the coronavirus pandemic.

“O Mary, you always shine on our path as a sign of salvation and of hope. We entrust ourselves to you, Health of the Sick, who at the cross took part in Jesus’ pain, keeping your faith firm. You know what we need, and we are sure you will provide so that, as in Cana of Galilee, we may return to joy and to feasting after this time of trial.

Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform to the will of the Father and to do as we are told by Jesus, who has taken upon himself our sufferings and carried our sorrows to lead us, through the cross, to the joy of the resurrection. Amen.

Under your protection, we seek refuge, Holy Mother of God. Do not disdain the entreaties of those of us who are in trial, but deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin.”
