May our abbreviated monthly newsletter find you and your family well during this difficult time.
HOPE For All has continued to serve since the March 23rd state-wide shutdown. Families who had been waiting weeks were able to receive furniture deliveries, including new beds. As much as all of us are feeling restricted over the social distancing directives, imagine how difficult it would be without a bed to sleep on at night?
We also continue to receive some requests for clothing essentials for people in crisis. Through our Next Step Clothing program, three adults in recovery and a family with children received emergency clothing over the past two weeks.
We had hoped to bring you photos this month of a surprise grant, as well as a promised donation, but so many normal activities ground to a halt during March that we will bring you that news when it happens. Of course our Spring Mingle was cancelled, and our Lenten donation of kitchen utensils was put on hold.
We will keep you informed of HOPE For All's status, including when we can again open to the public. Your donations will be most welcome since we have not been able to re-supply the inventory going out the door. Thank you for preparing your furniture, clothing, and houseware donations when you have time. Many families are going to need your help in the days ahead.
And Happy Earth Day on April 22nd!
