We miss you!
The library staff and I continue to work hard to expand our virtual services, and loving our team as we do, we strive to collaborate online. One thing comes across in every online meeting. We miss you!
With every new Library-to-Go Artist Afternoon, Storytime, or Mad Scientist project created, every new digital resource, every new idea, someone on staff connects it to someone in the community. "Oh, [Your name] will love this!" It is the same reaction I have when ordering books, when one of your faces pops into my mind and I think, "[Your name] will definitely want to read this."
We had our first Zoom online Silly Slipper Storytime this week, and it was so good to see you in real time, and sing and share stories together!
Please know we are thinking of you and your families, even as I have to repeat: Per our policy guidelines, the library will remain closed until further notice.

Free Seeds to Plant Your Victory Garden
 We are so sad not to be open for you to select your free garden seeds... Library-to-Go! to the Rescue!
Thanks to grants from Seed Savers Exchange, UNH Cooperative Extension, and generous donors, we are able to provide you with free variety packs of seeds to plant your vegetable garden this year, mailed directly to your home. (A fabulous resident is paying all the postage!)
Fill out this secure form and we will send you your seeds!
Due to the volume of seeds, we can't take specific requests but we promise a great variety of popular vegetables and herbs, and even flowers so you can fight the war on COVID-19 with healthy food, grown in your own yard.

While we are closed for the pandemic, we will accept online applications for library card membership for Jaffrey and Sharon residents only, without in-person identification/residency requirements, to allow online access to our digital services during our closure. Verification of identity/residency will be required after we reopen.
With your library card, you will have full access to all of our services.

Still...No Book Drop, Please
Thank you! Since asking that you hold onto your items until we reopen, we have had success in keeping the book drop free for our mail and deliveries while closed. It has been so helpful, and we really appreciate your continued cooperation.
All due dates have now been changed to May 18th.
