Hi <<First Name>>,

Join us for our live online worship experience Palm Sunday, April 5, 10:30 am. Pastor Jimmy will lead us through the Lord's Supper. Be sure to have the elements (bread & juice) ready so you can fully participate in worship. The best way to join us online Sunday is to follow the links found on the front page of our church website: fbcgulfport.org

On that first Palm Sunday, let's remember Jesus was received as the TRUE King that He was and is. In Matthew 21:8&9 we read,

  • A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted,
“Hosanna to the Son of David!”
“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”
  • “Hosanna in the highest heaven!”
Several members of the First Baptist Gulfport Church family will encourage you this Holy Week with a series of daily devotions. The devotions will be posted here: https://fbcgulfport.org/blog

Ring the Bells
At 6 p.m. every day beginning Monday, April 6, and until Monday, April 20, houses of worship across the State will ring their church bells for one minute in recognition of our healthcare workers on the front lines, in prayer for those who are sick, and in an attempt to unify Mississippians in sound and spirit. Mississippians across our entire state are also encouraged to go to their front yard and ring their bells at the same time. We may not be able to physically be with our friends and neighbors, but our sound can convey our support for one another.

If you would like to serve, you can find caring opportunities HERE.

Let's keep amplifying HOPE together!

Pastor Eric

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 NIV
