Dear Resident,
Our continued prayers are with the families who have been impacted by COVID-19.
As of the time of this notification, a total of fourteen (14) COVID-19 laboratory confirmed cases have been identified in Davie County to date. Of those 14, two deaths have been reported and two cases have fully recovered. Please click here for more information from Davie County Health and Human Services Director, Suzanne Wright.
In the midst of this response, our community has come together to help others in need. The Board of County Commissionersand County Administration appreciate our staff, local medical and health care professionals, law enforcement, towns, schools, non-profits, businesses, churches, responders, volunteers, and state and federal partners who are all working tirelessly to support our residents. You have all been inspiring.
Our primary focus should be on the mitigation and prevention of COVID-19 in our community. Please refer to the items below as a reminder of available information and resources regarding COVID-19.

Davie County Government continues to provide services to our residents-we are just doing it differently. Click here to see how Davie County Government operations are impacted. Our Emergency Operations Center team is working diligently to ensure that preparedness and contingency planning is taking place. Also, a COVID-19 hotline is staffed by Public Health Nurses who can be reached at 336-753-6750 or 336-753-6550.

NCDHHS has provided the following guidance and resources for a range of issues for stakeholders including: businesses and employers, public facing agencies, child care centers, colleges and universities, community organizations, faith based organizations, events and mass gatherings, health care providers, schools, long-term care facilities, retail centers, transportation providers, farmers, restaurants, and assisting persons with disabilities.
We must be proactive and identify the things that we can control individually and how our decisions impact those around us. Let’s continue to focus on the advice from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and our Public Health partners to limit the spread of COVID-19 in our community. Each of us have an important a role in assisting with this goal.
