So another Realtor I know told me to be more positive after reading my email last week. I won't say who, Linda... On one hand she's right, but at the end of this deal and during, you'll know that I was shooting you straight even if I might be wrong. It has slowed down a lot. Pending sales are down 20% this past week compared to three weeks ago. However, that number three weeks ago was nearing the height of a spring market. Let's compare the 158 homes that went under contract in the last week to the whole month of January, when only 79 homes went pending. That's a one week comparison to the whole month. People are still buying! I expect this spring buying trend to continue as long as our current crisis doesn't get too much worse.
I was honored to help a couple move here from near Denver to escape the hustle and bustle, and to be closer to their aging parents. They closed on this home two days ago!
