Extending Membership:
The MPS Executive Committee has voted to extend membership to those who had expiring memberships in 2020 for one year. The rationale for this decision is that one of the primary benefits of MPS membership is discounted registration rates for the annual conference. The updates in our database should occur within the next month. Currently, 48% of the MPS members have a membership that will expire in 2020. In the chart above, in a typical year MPS has on average 59 new members and/or membership renewals. This year, MPS has had only 3 membership transactions. In the past year MPS has improved our website to include a jobs board. Feel free to post physiology-related job postings on the MPS website, free of charge.
