We are so thankful to you, our community, for your support, encouragement, and understanding during these times. We are living in strange times indeed and are working to adapt to the ways in which social distancing affect market farming. One of those adaptations is taking up pre-orders. Thank you for working with us as we learn new systems and fine tune our new farm operations.

There are NOW three separate order forms (+ times) for our three pick up locations! We begin attending the Fearrington Farmers Market next week! This will help me keep track of inventory and make sure we're spreading the wealth between the three pick up locations. Orders are first come, first served (with inventory split per location to share the wealth). I will do my best to update the form as we sell out of items.

If an effort to simplify (+ hopefully streamline) things, we are including all three order form links in this weekly newsletter. However, each form opens on different days. Only the Fearrington Farmers Market order form is open as of Saturday 4/4. See the details below for opening days for each pick up location. Also, I will announce when forms are open on Facebook + Instagram

SATURDAY PICK UPS
THE FARM

Place your order for Saturday 4/4/20 on farm pick up (456 Friendly Pooch Lane, 10 am - 3 pm) no later than 7 am Friday 4/3, so that we may spend Friday harvesting, rinsing, and packing your produce orders. Please your order HERE. (order forms will open up when they are available - I will post for on farm pick up no later than Wednesdays).

NOTE: Our farm stand pick up is located about half a mile up a one-lane gravel road. You will see your produce when you see the tent and tables at the fork in the road and the apple orchard. Should you meet someone else driving on the road, one of you can usually back up into a spot so that the other may drive by. If you need us, honk your horn or give us a call/text. Ben's number is 919-417-0705. Patricia's number is 919-637-0666.

PAYMENT -  We will send you a general invoice (rather than line-by-line) via PayPal no later than the day of your pick up. We are working on setting up a farm store to make this process more streamlined. We will also have a plastic container for you to drop your check or exact change (we would prefer not to handle coins at all) as we did last week. In all of these scenarios, we won't have to handle product AND payment. We'll just handle product and our phone (which will be wiped down after every use).

This week we are offering the following produce (some things may change on a form-by-form basis, based up availability - see each form for updated information):

- Lettuce, head - $4/head or 3 for $10
- Spinach - $4/bag
- Swiss chard - $3.50/bunch
- Rutabaga - $2/lb or 3/lbs for $5
- Dandelion greens - $3.50/bunch
- Scallions - $3.00/bunch
- Green garlic - $3.00/bunch
- Chives - $3.00/bunch
- Flat leaf parsley - $3.00/bunch
- Curly leaf parsley - $3.00/bunch

We will also offering seedlings at each of our markets. They are $4 per 4 pack or 6 4 packs for $20. It is not as easy to keep up with this inventory, so we are only allowing pre-orders for these items at the on farm pick up. You may touch base with us on market day for availability.
Thank you for your support. And take care!

FYI, we will not have our kids at the markets for the foreseeable future. We also will not place products on the tables so as to minimize the temptation for touching. We are doing our very best to minimize risk for our patrons + ourselves. This picture was taken by Debbie Roos a couple of months ago.
