Worshiping at Home - April 5th

Below you'll find this week's sermon along with worship songs, the source scripture and questions for discussion. Please:

  • Pause and Watch
    • Continue to set the viewing time aside as a period of dedicated and focused worship.
    • Let's all try to watch together at 11:00 AM

  • Be a Family
    • Considering our church family, if you are able, invite a friend, someone from your discipleship group, or anyone you feel may be at risk of worshiping alone today, to watch and worship with you virtually.

  • Be on Mission
  • We’re relaunching our Mission Three campaign and inviting each of you to join in:
    1. Who are three people (or families) that you have a unique opportunity to connect with during this time?
    2. How can you pray and connect with these people?
      • Reach out and ask how you can be praying for them.
      • Find unique and creative ways to check-in and bless each person God has laid on your heart.
      • Share sermons, worship guides and/or devotionals directly or via social media.
    3. Let’s use the time that God has given us in our homes to pray and plan how we can consistently lift these people up to God.

Let's do all we can to continue to be Christ's Church.

AND, if you need anything please don't hesitate to reach out to Pastor Tyler or Pastor Dan

Sermon: Death of The King

Worship Songs:

Before viewing the sermon, take some time to lift your voices in praise and  worship to the Lord. Our songs for this week are:
  • This is the Day
  • Your Great Name
  • Worthy is the Lamb
  • Forever
Our music playlist can be found HERE.

Video:

We continue our series in Mark. View Death of The King.

Scripture:

  • Mark 15

Discussion Questions:

  1.  How did you feel hearing and thinking about how much Jesus suffered?
  2. The veil in the temple being torn is symbolic of what Jesus did giving us access to The Father.  What hinders you from spending more time in prayer and fellowship with God?
  3. After Jesus dies, Joseph  of Arimathea emerges. Joseph risked much by going to Pilate and requesting Jesus’ body to give him a proper burial in his tomb.  Are there any steps of faith, commitments, or sacrifices you feel The King is calling you to make?

Fellowship Zoom Call - 12:30PM:

Additional Notes

Pray:
While we may not be meeting in person it is important that we endure together in prayer.

If you're of the mind, please make use of our Prayer Loft to both share your own prayers and respond in prayer to others. We'll also be including all prayers left on Prayer Loft in our weekly Prayer Calls.

Please keep each other, the church and our city in your prayers.
