Hey Gang, it's Tom.

I wanted to write you some negative words about Corona and death and the bad world. But the more I wrote, the more my short depression (no fear, nothing bad) turned into a mood of awakening. I have deleted the text. Although it might be true what I would have written there, it was too negative for me. I was inevitably reminded of Hermann Hesse's "Stages", from which the (almost) hackneyed saying "In all beginnings dwells a magic force. For guarding us and helping us to live". Each of us could use a change from the monotonous everyday life and you didn't subscribe to OLD GANG'S HERALD to chew through the negative news of the day again. We are a GANG and in difficult times we stick together. So, #stayathome and we will see each other again soon after the COVID-19 crisis. Let's start full speed ahead after the crisis. By the way, in July we will also play in Calw, the birthplace of Hermann Hesse ;)

Now for something completely different: I've been getting a lot of letters from you about how the gang entrance exam is. Can I handle it? Is it painful? I write about it quite often. My band mates have already reprimanded me for that. But it's also a hot topic. To allay your fears, I would like to tell you about Nicole. Nicole thinks the Paddyhats are quite...OK... and she could imagine to become part of the GANG. We came up with something very personal for her: a nice tattoo of our signatures :)) Outstanding!
