Message from SOSORT Board 2019-2020
The Board of SOSORT wishes to extend our thoughts and prayers to all of you as we face the greatest global health challenge of our lifetimes. It is our hope that you and your families remain remain safe and healthy during these difficult times.
We likely have healthcare providers among our community on the frontlines of this battle caring for the ill and stepping in to fill new roles. We may also have patients among our SOSORT family who fill essential duties in keeping our cities and societies operating, from food service workers, to fire and safety officers, to daycare workers caring for the children of healthcare providers, and more. For all of you and your heroic efforts during this crisis, we are forever thankful.
The Board, our Committee Chairs, and Committee Members are hard at work strategizing the best way to move forward in continuing our mission of elevating scientific knowledge, and increasing collaboration around scoliosis and spine deformities around the world. Stay tuned as we and other organizations navigate the uncertainty of the Covid-19 crisis and the challenges it presents in making concrete future plans. Be assured that we have plans in the works to continue our much needed work. Detailed announcements will follow in the coming weeks/months.
