Strange times inspire novel responses! Welcome to City Park Friends and Neighbors' Seventh Annual Meeting. Instead of meeting with you, our members, face-to-face to vote on the 2020-21 Board of Directors, as we have done in the past, we are asking you to vote on this year's slate of Board Members by email. The CPFAN Nominating Committee, Jacqueline Victor and Keith Loftin have put forward the following slate of Board members. They are:

Please exercise your important role as a member of City Park Friends and Neighbors and cast your vote to info@cpfan.org. In the subject line of your email, enter Ballot. You may vote Yes on All. You may vote Yes for individual candidates. You may vote No for All or No for individaul candidates. Keep in mind that additional Board members may be added to the CPFAN Board after the Annual Meeting. If you are interested in joining the CPFAN Board, please email us those intentions as well. We welcome membership engagement and interest. We are allowing 3 days for votes to be submitted so please respond by April 9. We will tally membership votes and announce the results.

Birding Close To Home: Love Letter to City Park

Patrick O'Driscoll, from the Hale-Belleview neighborhood, is a birder and field trip leader for Denver Field Ornithologists ( www.dfobirds.org ). He has led outings every month or two in City Park for 4 years. Patrick reports that the Pinetum grove beneath the Denver Museum of Nature and Science's south wall is a great spot for birds in a park filled with many kinds of birds (at least 174 species have been recorded in City Park).
