Earth Day Every Day!

April 22nd marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. In 1970, twenty million people came together throughout the United States to protest. They demanded environmental improvements! American's were frustrated with the ignorant cycle of pollution that was occurring. This year's theme highlights the significance of climate change. Everyone can join this environmental movement through simple actions. Some ideas include:
  • walking or riding a bike to your destinations
  • establish a recycling plan for your used items
  • fix any leaking faucets to save water
  • plant a tree
  • use reusable water bottles
This holiday falls on the same date each year, but why not make every day Earth Day?
