Book 34 — Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance

Book Club Updates

You can now browse the books by category! Just go to https://books.bitbetter.club/browse-books/category/philosophy/ and see what are the top recommendations of the Philosophy department! Not all the books are assigned to a proper category just yet, so it may feel a bit empty sometimes.

You've selected new books you want to read in our last poll and we've already added them to the list. Head on to https://books.bitbetter.club/ and select "Next Book" if you want to take a peek!

Due to popular demand, we are running an online meetup by the Gdańsk community focused on "How to Win Friends & Influence People" by Dale Carnegie

Weeks 15 – 16

"Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" by Robert M. Pirsig

This year so far we’ve learned how to build a strong character, focus on the things we have control over, and how friendliness helps us win over people.

The current book should teach us how to live an authentic life guided by values.

Weeks 17 – 18

"Antifragile" by Nassim Nicholas Taleb

A continuation to "The Black Swan" that we've covered last year, this book explains how to benefit from chaos and disruption. The world as we know it is changing and it's better to adapt to the change than to hope it won't happen.

Do you have a recommendation for a book or a person we should add? Give us a shout in the forum: https://forum.bitbetter.club/c/books/recommendations.
