Dear Friends,

Our warm good wishes to you all, along with our prayers, as we continue in this strange, but gradually more familiar situation. We hope you are all well and able to manage the restrictions we all live with.

You are very much in our thoughts. For each service we conduct, the clergy are acutely aware of the privilege we have in being able to still engage in worship within the Cathedral walls. Each day as the staff gather via Zoom for our prayers, some at the Cathedral and some at home, we pray for you by name.

This weekend we move from Mandy Thursday, through Good Friday, to the joy of Easter Day and the celebration of new life through Christ’s resurrection from the dead. You are warmly invited to join us for the services online, as listed below. We expect that some of the services will be shown on channel 31, so you can watch there too.

Thank you to all of you who have been tuning in to take part in the services. We are aware that some do not have the technology to watch the services online, and others do not have sufficient data allowances to watch. If that is you, please get in touch and we will endeavour work out a way to enable you to take part in our services and catch-up times with other congregants.

Following the Easter celebrations, both the Dean and I will take some days off, and will be back on deck on Sunday 19 April. Our services will be covered by our other clergy and some Canons.

From all of us we wish you a happy and holy Easter.

Grace and peace,

Heather.
