Midweek Groups
Here at Cheltenham Elim, we have many opportunities for you to grow and get involved in the life of the church.
Here is a list of some of the mid-week groups you can get involved with and who to contact if you are interested in joining or finding out more. In this current season, we won't be meeting in person, but will still have care, and groups available through an online avenue called Zoom (download the app & contact the person listed so you can connect). EASTER PRAYER MEETING
We are joining with Elim, other denominations, and Christian organisations worldwide to set Good Friday aside for prayer. We believe this shifts things, and gets us into God’s heart for people and situations. So we are hosting a 7:30 prayer meeting on Zoom, and channelled onto our Facebook community page. It will be structured, and will begin with communion, so please come prepared with bread & wine (or juice) in order to join in. We will send out the code to our email list closer to Friday.
Under 18’s work
We are pleased to say that the youth will be meeting for a similar meeting at 11am in Good Friday, which our youth worker, Sam, has already emailed parents about. We will also be releasing more all age worship, for the children to enjoy, and another Easter themed bedtime story.
Easter Sunday will be a celebration of life conquering death, and Jesus being free to lead us into life everlasting. This will be a wonderful service with worship, prayer, story, invitation and even something for the kids. We strongly encourage you to invite someone else to tune in. The invitation is for anyone intrigued by faith, to be introduced to the One we have found to have saved our lives.
You can now help someone become a Christian by leading them to information on our website. Here, they will get a brief explanation and be able to fill in a form to get in contact with someone. Why not share this page with some people you have been journeying with and see what they think?

GIVT
You can now give to us through your smartphone. Download the GIVT app, scan this QR code & give. It's simple, easy to use & effective in making sure we can continue to release ministry through this church.
REMINDER:
You may be in a position where you can help us. If you are not, we seek not to put any burden on you whatsoever. We do therefore have three ways you can help us:
1. Pray with us. Absolutely nothing will be as impactful as prayer in this season. Let us never lose sight of the hope we have in Jesus Christ.
2. Serve with us. You may be fit and healthy; in which case, in order to open more, we need more hands to help serve people in need. this could be through delivering to those in isolation, or helping us help those who are able to come to our site.
3. Give financially. We want to make sure our ministry and our foodbank work increases. This means we still need resourcing coming in. Would you consider giving via a standing order? If you don’t giftaid to us, please can we ask you to giftaid to us also. If you normally give by cash, can we ask you to put a cheque to us in the post instead?
We are indebted to all who already give and serve. From the bottom of our hearts, we say thank you for giving sacrificial, generously & consistently.
NOTE: Foodbank will not be open on Good Friday for clients, nor will it be open on Easter Monday for donations.
We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who is giving their time, energy or finance to the cause right now. We are successfully feeding hundreds of people each week, whilst keeping donations coming in, and volunteers safe. It’s a big task right now, so your support, whether prayerfully or otherwise, is nothing other than encouraging.
please keep supporting any way you can. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
