This year, Passover carries a significant weight. With the COVID-19 restrictions, many nations are in lockdown and we are called to be in the shelter of our homes. Indeed, Prime Minister Netanyahu has called for a full national lockdown in Israel for Passover. Israel has not experienced anything like this since the Passover in Exodus 12. The Lord of Hosts is calling us to attention! We invite you to join others across the nations in this Passover initiative. This is an unprecedented time. As you respond to this call, we believe we will be participating in a historic spiritual landmark. The focus of the initiative is to build up community and intimacy with God. Below are the details. We have attached the prayer guide for your use.
How to participate:
We are simply inviting you to take initiative to meet with friends, family, church, work cohorts, etc., intentionally one hour a day, April 9-11th in COVID-19 responsible communities. Recommended focuses through worship, prayer, reading the Word would be the following:
April 9, Day 1: Repentance: Hearts will be cleansed of obstacles that separate us from God and one another.
April 10, Day 2: Reconciliation: Prayer in action towards reconciling us with God and with one another
April 11, Day 3: Revival: Prayer for the outpouring of His Spirit and the fullness of Gentile Church (Romans 11:25).
Take Communion each day with each other
This initiative will not interfere with local church expressions, but is a strategic and important spiritual intervention to strengthen and encourage participants for the coming season.
