An Update To LVHN Colleagues on the Front Line

Together we stand strong. These are the words of Tim Friel, MD, Chair, Department of Medicine, as he addresses LVHN colleagues in this video. Friel discusses the policies LVHN has put in place to fight COVID-19 in our community and health network. He outlines what we learned from other countries and regions and the strategies we’re using to prevent COVID-19 from spreading.

He makes an important ask to all LVHN colleagues. If you are sick with fever, cough or respiratory tract symptoms, stay home. For our colleagues on the front lines, if you develop symptoms while working, notify your supervisor immediately.

As Friel says, we will continue to face this new reality with compassion and competence. Together we will get through this and we will stand strong.
