Check the Status of Your Maryland COVID-19 Loan/Grant Application at Maryland OneStop
If you have submitted an application for the Maryland Small Business COVID-19 Emergency Relief Loan/Grant you can now check the status of that application by signing up for a Maryland OneStop account. Please make sure to use the same email address that was used in your original application. This does not offer updates on federal loan applications. Your application will be linked up to your account and you will be notified. More information about business assistance programs.



Capital Region Economic Development Organizations Join Forces with a Focus on Collaboration, Cooperation and Inclusion 
HCEDA has joined with economic development organizations from Anne Arundel, Charles, Frederick, Prince George’s, and Montgomery Counties in signing a Joint Statement on Regional Collaboration among Maryland Capital Region Local Economic Development Organizations to outline their collective commitment to growing a stronger Maryland Capital Region.

Temporary Paid Leave and Family Medical Leave Guide 
The Families First Coronavirus Response Act created new temporary paid sick leave and paid Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) programs that are reimbursable by the federal government. The new US Chamber guide provides information on requirements, employee eligibility, paid leave calculations and exemptions.

Howard County Drive-Thru COVID-19 Testing Site Opens Tomorrow
Starting tomorrow April 7th, the Howard County Health Department, in partnership with the Maryland Department of Health, will begin offering drive-through COVID-19 testing. To be tested, residents who are displaying symptoms must have a referral from their healthcare provider and an appointment for testing.

REACT and COD Working to Provide Critical Delivery 
Howard County Radio Emergency Associated Communications Team (REACT) has launched a critical grocery and medication delivery service. This service is intended to assist Howard County citizens that cannot leave their homes during the COVID-19 crisis and are having trouble getting groceries delivered in a timely fashion. This service is a joint venture between Howard County REACT and Howard County COAD .
