1) MAKE SURE YOU ARE READY TO SERVE YOUR CLIENTS ONLINE:
  1. Update your Website and Google MY Business listing to let clients know what is going on at your business.
  2. Let your clients know how they can reach you if your brick and mortar location is closed (we suggest using a mailchimp campaign -- free to set up if you don't already have one).
2) MAKE IT EASIER FOR YOUR CLIENTS TO DO BUSINESS ONLINE WITH YOU:
Implement new ways for clients to get information to you or request services (these are examples of what we have implemented for clients in the last few weeks, using our expertise in online communication and commerce):
  1. Add Smartforms to your website for Registration for online classes, requesting transportation services, call returns. If you can imagine it, we can design and build it!
  2. Add Calendly to your website for scheduling phone calls or Zoom meetings for safe "face-to-face" interaction. Research other apps that could be useful to your clients (or ask us!).

3) INVEST TIME IN STRENGTHENING YOUR SEO AND ONLINE MARKETING INFRASTRUCTURE:

Upping your digital marketing and search engine optimization game now, though counterintuitive in an economic downturn, positions your business to take advantage of the opportunities embedded in the immediate and long term future, which will take place increasingly online (see our recent article):
  1. Use free online tools to research online buying trends. SEO/SEM Software as Service (SaaS) applications are making some of their keyword tools free during this period -- try them out as you find them! Here are two we’re recommending:
    1. Ubersuggest, a widely used free keyword research tool that was transitioning to a paid model has reverted back to offering many of its tools for free: Ubersuggest.com
    2. SEOMonitor is releasing a tool we’re really excited about. Valuable for those who want to see how user queries are shifting due to the Corona Virus’ impact. Trends.seomonitor.com
  2. Strengthen the SEO of the pages in your website by refreshing/updating content and improving semantic structure (download our one page crib sheet for improving page structure) -- Google will love it! Contact us at support@ameravant.com if you need help.
