Midwest Creation Fellowship

Coming (and NOT Coming) Events

You must know it already, but MCF's meeting for April is CANCELLED -- for now. May isn't looking good either, since Covid-19 may well be keeping us all home. But we're thinking of trying to set up online meetings, as many churches are doing. Stay tuned!

If you missed any of our meetings in the last 2 years, almost all are in our Videos channel in YouTube. This page also links to seven other places for valuable creation-oriented videos!

This stay-home period would give students extra time to prepare an essay that would not only give a real possibility of a prize up to $500 -- but the information available on creation vs. evolution is fascinating! We have hundreds of books and videos in the Library-by-Mail - call us at 847-223-4730!

Most of our speakers' organizations depend on income from their presentations. Few or no churches or other groups can have their normal meetings, due to COVID-19. Therefore, MCF will send Carl Kerby the honorariums that he would have received if we had had the 3 meetings that were scheduled. Could you help us? The Student Essay Contest is ON!

Due date is April 30

Students aged 11 to 18 may participate, and the prizes are from
$100 to $500!

Printable information:

Participating will help students learn to find answers to their own questions about their faith, especially in creation/evolution. They will also develop skills in thinking logically, researching a topic, writing clearly and using needed computer software. The cash prizes should provide an additional incentive!

There is practically no limit to the topics that you could write on for this contest! There's a list of suggestions on our website. We have found that the deeper we look into creation, the more we see the work of an awesome Creator!

Creation Science on the Streets

How do we evangelize a culture that no longer accepts Biblical authority? Come discover one of the most powerful means of evangelism for today's world, that you can use to reach our once-Christian culture.

For several years, Ralph and a few others have been sharing information about creation and science with students outside of high schools. School administrators would prefer that they “not be there” but they know we have the right to distribute literature under the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution: free speech still exists! We only need to exercise this right to share the Gospel.

Normally, MCF's meetings are on the first Monday of the month and the next day -- except around holidays, such as Labor Day. Locations are in Lindenhurst and Carol Stream, Illinois, and we're opening a new third location south of Chicago. We do not charge, but a freewill offering would be appreciated, to help with expenses. Everyone is welcome!
