What is the Value of your Health?

We are developing Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and co-working with clinical experts in Ageing to improve the efficiency of screening and intervention pathways for senior citizens with frailty, and to support the upscale of this programe to a national level. To achieve these goals, a MSc. Student in Computer Science will join VOH.CoLAB's team in May.

Analysis of "High Users" data at the emergency service of Hospital Garcia de Orta

Our expertise in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence is helping GRHU (Grupo de Resolução de High Users) to measure the value of healthcare integration by evaluating data collected from the emergency department’s “high users”, that is, citizens who score 10 or more emergency episodes per year.

We were invited to attend "Scale-IT-up"
workshop at BIOSTEC 2020

On the 26th February, Ana Rita Londral, our CEO, attended the workshop "Best Practices for Scaling-Up Digital Innovations in Healthcare - Scale-IT-up 2020" at BIOSTEC 2020, International Conference dedicated to Biomedical Engineering Systems and Technologies.
By exploring the topic of sustainable digital health innovations' diffusion and adoption, the initiative was a great opportunity to present our user-centered design methodology in the implementation of real-life pilots.

TDABC for Knee Osteoarthritis care cycle

By collaborating with two hospitals of our healthcare provider founding partner, José de Mello Saúde, we are performing a cost analysis comparative  study
between two different Knee Osteoarthritis care delivery chains, following the guiding principle of 7-step time-driven activity-based costing (TDABC).

We were invited to present these results at ICHOM Conference 2020!
