It turns out we're still getting used to working from home!
Here's our revised newsletter with our updated Dog of the Month. Enjoy :)
New Daily Schedule:
Wake up.
Hug the dog.
Have a good day.
To our Lakeshore PAWS family and friends,
Life looks a lot different than it did a few months ago. Most of our daily schedules have been hijacked and our lives unhinged. I'm here to tell you that Lakeshore PAWS is with you and that we will be enacting temporary precautions and procedures to ensure your safety.
Due to the “Shelter in Place” mandate for the COVID-19 pandemic, Lakeshore PAWS will be working in a very limited capacity and closed to the public until April 30th. We are trying to remain flexible and understand that this date is dependent on the national and global climate in the next few weeks.
To mitigate risk and do our part to maintain the safety of our community, we are currently postponing all events and will not be allowing adoptions. If you are looking to adopt and would like to view our available dogs, visit us online at www.lakeshorepaws.org or click here. We would love to schedule you for a meet and greet at the center as soon as we are back in full swing!
Although we appreciate in-kind donations such as food, dog beds and blankets, we cannot accept them at this time due to sanitary reasons. If you would like to make a contribution, we are always in need of monetary donations. Donations can be made online, mailed to Lakeshore PAWS at 4611 Evans Avenue, or through Facebook.
If you have any questions or need assistance, you can email us at info@lakeshorepaws.org and someone will get back to you within 24 hours. If you have lost a pet, please call your local animal shelter. You can also email us a description of your pet so that we can spread the word on our Facebook page.
We love being a part of this community. We stand with you through the good times and the uncertain times, and we know we will get through this together. Thank you for your support and understanding.
Gratefully Yours,
Jeanne Sommer
