North Carolina Governor, Roy Cooper, held a press conference on Friday and issued Executive Order 121, which went into affect yesterday at 5pm until April 29 th and includes stay at home provisions. A frequently asked questions document about this Executive Order can be found by clicking here.

The N.C. Office of Emergency Management is collecting information on businesses that wish to be deemed essential. The state suggest that any businesses who wish to be considered essential should email beoc@ncdps.gov with the following information: Business name; your name; email; phone number; address; nature of the business and why it is essential to continue operations; a link to the business website.
