Staying Resilient During  COVID-19

  • In response to the COVID 19 Pandemic, Rogers' InHealth staff have translated the strategies from compassion resilience into the context of this pandemic. There are nine unique blogs around and videos on Staying Resilient During COVID-19.
  • WISE and Rogers’ InHealth have also launched the Parents and Caregivers Compassion Resilience Toolkit. You can find the Toolkit at https://compassionresiliencetoolkit.org/. This Toolkit is organized for a facilitator team to implement eight sessions for parents and caregivers. The content is designed to build upon parents’ and caregivers’ compassion resilience, covering such topics as compassion in action, compassion fatigue, expectations, boundaries, modeling and wellness practices. Though designed for facilitators, individuals could also benefit from reviewing this content on their own and reflecting on their parenting/caregiving practices.
  • Greater Good’s Guide to Well-Being During Coronavirus-Practices, resources, and articles for individuals, parents, and educators facing COVID-19

From the DPI A Focus on Mental Health and Wellness During School Closures

These mental health resources are organized in four areas:

  • General Mental Health and Wellness
  • Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Wellness
  • Parent, Caregiver, and Educator Mental Health and Wellness
  • Positive Parenting and Safe Home Environments

  • TSS Academic Interventions at Tier 2/3-Learn how to apply the TSS lens to individual and small group academic instruction.
  • Trauma Informed De-escalation-Applying the TSS lens to these practices can increase a school’s ability to diffuse situations and limit the need for other types of interventions.
  • Person-Centered Planning-The hallmark of a TSS school is one that honors choice, collaboration, empowerment, trust and safety. This module will focus on how to infuse those values so that educators can collaborative and effectively co-plan with students.
