NCC Spring Online Conference

Due to our inability to meet together under the circumstances, the NCC Spring Conference will now be conducted as an Online Conference. The theme of the Conference is "1888: Christ Is At The Door" and the guest speaker will be Br. Peter Lausevic, who will be sharing these messages with us digitally. There will also be a selection of sacred musical items prepared especially for this event! The Conference will begin Friday, April 10 at 7:30pm and can be viewed online at youtube.com/sdarmlive.

NCC Update Regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Outbreak

We are continuing to pray for all those affected by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, especially those who are working in the medical field during this challenging time. We trust that the Lord will sustain each one of you in these times of uncertainty, and give you the peace that comes from a personal relationship with Christ.

As this situation continues to develop, the State of California remains under shelter-in-place orders. This past Tuesday, March 31, the Federal Government extended their Coronavirus Guidelines until April 30, which request that gatherings of 10 or more people refrain from meeting. Under these circumstances, all NCC Churches and Groups will remain closed this Sabbath, April 4. Further updates on closures will be provided in this newsletter.

However, the sharing of the gospel message does not stop, and in light of this a full schedule of Online Services will be available tomorrow in 4 languages. Please scroll down to view the full schedule in the "Special Online Service Schedule" section of this newsletter.

Update: Along with Tithe donations, Offerings can now be donated to the Northern California Conference through the donation page of the NCC website. Offerings such as Sabbath School, First Fruit, Thank Offerings, and Foreign Mission, which are normally sent to the NCC through your local church, can be donated online directly. For this Sabbath, April 4, there is also a special donation button for the First Sabbath Offering for Johannesburg which will be sent directly to the General Conference for this project. For more information on tithe and/or offering donations, click here. (Offerings for local church funds/projects should be donated by coordinating with your local church treasurer).

The NCC Council also voted on Thursday, March 26 to postpone the NCC Delegation Session which was originally scheduled for Sunday, May 17, 2020 until Sunday, August 30, 2020. Further updates will be provided as they become necessary.

Any further official updates from the NCC regarding this situation will be provided by email and on the NCC website as they become available.

2019 NCC Budget Update + New 2020 NCC Budget

The NCC Council would like to provide a final update on the 2019 NCC Budget for the Tithe and General Accounts. We thank the Lord for His blessings during the past year and are grateful that the goal for the 2019 Budget was met for both accounts. The Council is also providing the new 2020 NCC Budget for the General and Tithe Accounts. Updates will be provided and made available at the link below for 2020 NCC Budget.

2020 Moriah Heights Building Project Update

Work has been steadily progressing on the new building at Moriah Heights. The discussions with the Fire Department regarding the sprinkler system have been completed and we have received tentative approval to install the sprinkler system. A parking lot also needs to be built as one of the requirements of the Fire Department. Once the sprinkler system has been installed and the parking lot completed, we will be ready to move on with the installation of the carpet and stage in the building.

We have been blessed with many generous contributions, and we are grateful for each one! We are making a special appeal for donations to cover the cost of the sprinkler system and parking lot, which are the main costs still needing to be funded for the remaining stages of this project. Presently, we still need to raise approximately 2/3 of the cost of this part of the project.
