ReHand App

ReHand is a Tablet-based digital solution created by and under the guidance of several healthcare professionals (hand therapists, surgeons and physiatrists) to prescribe and allow the execution of evidence-based home exercise programs for rehabilitation after traumatic bone and soft tissue injuries of hand, wrist and fingers. All the exercises are performed by touching the touch-screen of Tablet devices and guided by feedback, enabling patients to work in a pain-free range of movement based on sensorimotor principles. All the information collected from the interaction between the patient and the Tablet is sent weekly in a pdf format to the therapist´s email. This provide hand therapists to monitor patients receiving data as adherence to the treatment, scale results as VAS or functional ability, etc.
Alejandro Suero is one of the researchers leading ReHand, a research tele-rehabilitation project started three years ago in hospitals of the Spanish Public Health System. Currently, it is only running in hospitals in Spain, but due to this situation they are working to give access to any colleague in Europe to help them and their patients keeping hand therapy anywhere. ReHand have scheduled a couple of webinars with Alejandro, where he's going to explain ReHand scientific basis, the clinical trials conducted and how to use it in tele-rehabilitation practice.
These will be 30 minute webinars with time for questions afterwards at the following times:
