BOA Standards for Trauma and Orthopaedics (BOASTs) have been updated with a new advice for the management of patients with urgent orthopaedic conditions and trauma during the coronavirus pandemic. Please find this update here
- There is a lot of discussion in the media and on social media regarding PPE and what is required for frontline workers. We suggest you continue to refer to the CSP and RCOT guidance regarding this for the most update information:
- Please continue to use the forum to liaise with your fellow hand therapy colleagues up and down the country about how you are continuing to manage hand trauma and please posts any useful tips/tricks that you find are working well in your areas!
We continue to be proud of the work all of the hand therapists are doing both in their own area of expertise and those that are working in other areas within the UK's healthcare system to combat COVID19. Its truly extraordinary to see how resilient everyone is being during all of this. Please say safe and look after yourselves and each other.
