New Details on NSF's COVID-19 Proposal Process
If you missed the webinar on NSF's COVID-19 call for proposals a recording is available here.  A few exciting details to consider while planning your submission.

1. Be brief and to the point.  Consider the shorter 9-page min. format.  Don't worry if you don't have letters of support.  NSF is open to fast responses on good ideas for this crisis.
2. Project Pitches will be processed within 5 DAYS
3. Funding will be available within 6 weeks, which is quite a bit faster than normal awards.
4. While you can only have one Project Pitch under review at a time, you can submit another project pitch if rejected forgoing the typical, 'two project pitch maximum per submission window' rule.
5. Technologies further along in commercialization will be considered.  If you think that your company or technology is too far along for a typical SBIR/STTR grant, STILL consider applying.

As you can see from the relaxed COVID-19 submission rules, NSF is motivated to fund technologies that will support COVID-19 global challenges.
