Today is Census Day

Today is April 1, 2020 – otherwise known at Census Day!

It’s easier than ever to respond online, by phone or by mail. Even if you haven’t received a letter at home – or misplaced it – you can still respond via 2020census.gov

As Mayor, I am acutely focused on making sure our community, every one of us, is counted in the 2020 Census.

This once-in-a-10-year count determines where the more than $675 billion of federal funding will be invested in schools, hospitals, roads and other important programs.

Now, more than ever, it’s important that we all participate.

An inaccurate or undercount in our community can mean receiving fewer resources.

You can help by completing your census form, asking neighbors and friends to participate, and helping us get the word out. Thank you!

COVID-19: Ask Issaquah

As Issaquah continues its local response to the COVID-19 outbreak, what questions do you have? Send us an email.

Our team is developing videos to address our community’s top concerns. See our responses so far, which will be updated frequently.

As always, I am committed to keeping our community informed.

Please check our website, which also has resources for those in need, ideas on how we can help each other, and how we can support local businesses during this challenging time.

Please, stay home and stay healthy. We got this, Issaquah.

Yours in Service,

Mayor Mary Lou Pauly
