2020 Nationals Update

The 2020 E5.9 Nationals scheduled for Sandspit 21 - 24 May have been postponed to 11 - 12 September and will be held at Sandspit.

Amended to NOR and the amended NOR are available on the E5.9 website.
https://elliott59.weebly.com/

The postponement is due to the fact that under Level 3 restrictions the contest can not take place. In the event that the Level 3 restrictions are changed to Level 2, the change would only occur a short time prior to the event and current Level 2 restrictions also make the contest unlikely. The association therefore feels that the appropriate decision is to postpone the Nationals to the later date of 11 - 12 September.

FYI, here's a link to the Yachting NZ Covid-19 Update site that helps guide the associations decision making around our upcoming events.

Remember to check out the Elliott 5.9 facebook page  https://www.facebook.com/elliott5.9/ for updates.

Agenda, financial statements etc will be forwarded to current members 1 week prior to the meeting.

If you have any matters to be included in the agenda, please forward them to  stu.clarke@xtra.co.nz  at least 1 week prior to the meeting. Please also provided a quick background summary, if appropriate, that can be released with the agenda. This will help the online meeting format.

Champing at the bit to hit the water. Is it SlamDragon or SnapDunk?
A bit of a confused look on Stu's face. Apparently he's used to having a central traveller and has therefore never really been allowed to the front of the boat before. A bit confused by all the ropes and stuff up there.
Nice to see the rig back up on Voodoo.
Both Voodoo and Blurr are expected to be on the water this season. Should be a good showdown when it happens.
