Current COVID-19Infomation at the ACON Clearing house

Keep up to date with current and accurate COVID-19 information from a health perspective, and that is also relevant to the LGBTQ communities and people living with HIV (PLHIV) can be tricky. ACON has established a learning house of current and relevant and evidence-based information that is constantly added to meet your growing and changing information needs.

10 LGBT-inclusive tasks that can be completed anywhere

While many staff in the health and human services sector are still on the front lines, some of us will be working from home, in new or modified roles. This doesn't mean that inclusion work has to stop. Our Factsheet provides some ideas on how your diversity and inclusion work can continue irrespective of where you are.

Why not get the team that may not traditionally be involved in diversity initiatives to undertake some of these with their own perspectives.

How to support LGBTQ staff as they work from home.

The current physical distancing measures and the need for non-frontline staff to work from home can cause stress due to the unknown compounded with fears of job losses, infection, missing loved ones and can magnify previous worries.

LGBTQ staff who work from not only face these stressors but often had added complexities at this time. Pride in Health + Wellbeing has put together a factsheet on how best to support LGBTQ staff while the lines between our personal spaces and our workspaces blur.
