School-to-Home Learning Resources
A major change in routine can be stressful and oftentimes leads to fear and anxiety for many students. Practicing appropriate self-care is vitally important to a student’s emotional and mental health.

The Center for Disease Control stresses the importance of maintaining routines and activities during extended periods of social distancing. To reduce stress and anxiety, it is important to create a schedule for learning time and relaxing or fun family activities.

To support students and prevent a gap in learning due to the extended wellness break, we are providing several types of resources for parents which include online access and printed materials. New resources are available each Friday and are provided to enhance or continue learning already achieved in the classroom.

Printed materials for grades PK-8 are handed out during the Grab-n-Go Meal pickup time on Friday’s starting at 11:30. If you need printed materials and are unable to make it during this time, a Learning Plan cabinet, with all available printed resources, is located at the Primary cafeteria entrance in the Primary circle drive. You may access printed resources at any time from this location. High school students who would like printed materials, please call the office at 417-847-3137 to request resource packets for specific courses.

Remember, these activities are not required, but are recommended to keep students strong mentally, physically and emotionally.

Printed materials are available for PK-8 students in the Learning Plan cabinet. High school students should call 847.3137 to pick up their packet.
