Fly Tying and Puppy Training Online Seminars

Hello Fellow Anglers and Dog Lovers,

Fly Tying and Dog Training online session schedules and content below. During the Stay at Home Order we will be happy to continue with educational programming if we can produce it within CDC Guidelines. Give us any ideas you have and we will see what we can do.

In the meantime we are still taking reservations for May through November!

Facebook Live Fly Tying Session
Capt. Chuck's Custom Little Rascal

Join Capt. Chuck on Facebook Live at 4:00 pm on April 21st. He's going to show you how he tie's his favorite early season lamprey pattern. You will be able to ask questions during the presentation.

Go to the Hawkins Outfitters Facebook Page and look for the Live feed. It will also be there for future reference if you are unable to watch it live.

During that presentation let us know if there are any other patterns you would like to see!

The Three Core Foundations of Gundog Training – The Dog, The Skills and The Plan - Part 1

Join Chris Butz from Hawkins Outfitters on Thursday April 23rd at 4:00pm on Facebook live on the Hawkins Outfitters Facebook Page. He will discuss the first two of three core foundations that he sees lead his clients to frustration and defeat when they begin training their gundog. If we don’t understand the skills that we teach and the speed at which we teach them, then the third core foundation – the plan – will never amount to anything.

In this first of two presentations, you will leave with an understanding of the importance of knowing your dog and how to teach a dog under 3.5 months old (or any dog for that manner) so that you are ready to develop a plan for execution.
