Dear neighbor,
As ILove Local week comes to an end, I wanted to simply ask: What's for dinner?

- We are available via phone and email to enter service requests and help with any ward related business.
I wish you good health and safety.
All the best,

The Mayor's Office has announced that to mitigate some of the economic pressure being felt by local businesses, the City of Chicago has extended tax payment remittances for the months of February, March, and April 2020 until June 1, 2020.
|
|
The city has also extended the suspension of late fees and defaults on payment plans until June 1, 2020. This suspension includes:
- City tickets
- Utility bills
- Parking and red-light citations
- Booting
- Other non-public safety-related violations
|
|
While motorists are still required to pay for metered parking, there will be no collections on overdue debt.
The city has discontinued booting during this time.
There will be no new interest accumulated on current compliance plans, no debt collection efforts, and a further extension of the deadline for city debt checks on transportation network providers and taxi drivers.

In these challenging times, restaurants across the nation have a small revenue stream from takeout and delivery orders, however, they still need help supporting their staff.
As a result, Go Fund Me Campaigns have been created to support staff during this difficult time. All funds are distributed evenly among staff, and this will allow them to pay bills, pay rent, and shop for groceries in the coming weeks.
Listed below are 39th Ward restaurants who have Go Fund Me Campaigns. Click an image below to donate.
