ICTS delivered 15 extra mega trailers to Barsan Global Logistik Gmbh this month.
The mega trailers are produced by Kässbohrer and equipped with:
- double deck loading capability;
- stainless steel strips in the curtains;
- extra load security;
- BPW AirSave* tyre pressure monitoring;
- customer livery with specific graphics.
After the first delivery in 2018, this new delivery strengthens the close cooperation between the two partners even more. ICTS and Barsan are already cooperating in Germany, Poland, Belgium and the Netherlands.

*With BPW AirSave, the tyre pressure is constantly monitored and automatically adjusted to the desired level via a control box with booster and warning lights. This significantly reduces the risk of accidents, prevents downtimes, saves fuel by maintaining optimal pressure at all times, and reduces CO² emissions.

Vos Logistics and ICTS get together.

ICTS and Vos Logistics Romania SRL have evaluated their cooperation during a business review meeting in Romania. All subjects regarding trailer rental and associated services were discussed.
Vos Logistics has been renting different types of ICTS trailers over the years. The partnership was established in 2011 and since then, Vos Logistics has rented long-term box trailers, but also short-term mega trailers and box trailers from ICTS. In addition, Vos Logistics also makes use of other services which ICTS offers to its customers; both ICTS Services in Zeebrugge and ICTS Services in Antwerp have been working with Vos Logistics for years. ICTS Services is responsible for performing inspections and maintenance on a significant part of Vos Logistics' Dutch trailer fleet in Zeebrugge, Belgium.
Pieter Derksen, Purchase Manager at Vos Logistics, says: “Zeebrugge is an important location for Vos Logistics because of the ferry transport to the rest of Europe. That’s why we also have our own premises in Zeebrugge, right next to ICTS’ location, which further simplifies our operational cooperation.”
The Polish branch of Vos Logistics, Vos Logistics Cargo International SA, is also partnered with ICTS via ICTS Sp. z.o.o. in Gdynia. In Poland, Vos Logistics provides both national and international transport of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) with ICTS trailers, and for several customers in the retail sector.

Doubling the MOT capacity in Zeebrugge, Belgium.
|
|
|
The new Belgian MOT hall in Zeebrugge is progressing and expected to become operational mid-2020, offering 2 double-capacity lanes for Belgian registered trucks and trailers. 4 combinations can be inspected simultaneously.
The state-of-the-art new lanes which are being constructed are an addition to the existing lane for Dutch registered vehicle inspections (APK), where ICTS inspected over 3,000 trailers in 2019. This equals 12 APK’s per day.
By providing local Dutch and Belgian MOT’s, ICTS saves their local and international customers time and money, and reduces their environmental footprint. ICTS expects to double today’s MOT capacity after the summer period.

New lightweight chassis for rent.
|
|
Kässbohrer has delivered 15 new 40-45ft lightweight container chassis to ICTS. This brings the total of Kässbohrer lightweight chassis in the ICTS fleet to 250 units.
With an empty weight of 3900kg, ICTS provides one of the lightest chassis on the rental market. The vehicles are perfect for most Swap Bodies and Containers and can be equipped with genset.
All 15 are available at the depot in Zeebrugge, Belgium.
