MARKET WILL BE AT TWO LOCATIONS THIS WEEK: the municipal lot at 6th and Columbia Street AND the metered lot behind St Johns Church just a bit down the block, still 10AM to 1PM
The Hudson Farmers Market is an ESSENTIAL service to Columbia County. We continue to produce the highest quality food around–– all from local farmers and makers. RIGHTNOW is a time where we can focus on the strength of our local economy by supporting these avenues of business.
So in order for the market to function we need to go over weekly precautions and protocols:
We are requiring each vendor to weargloves and a mask in order to participate–– plus they will have bottles of handsanitizer available for use at their stands. Please be courteous and patient, they are doing their absolute best!
We are spreading vendors between two spots: the lot at 6th and Columbia Street and the metered lot behind St Johns Church on Columbia (a little bit down the block). This is to make sure that there is adequatespace for the number of customers that have been attending. (See list of vendors and their location below.)
We are encouraging you to continue shopping with us, but make it more efficient. Remember: GRAB and GO! We love you and we understand that the market is social time, but if we don't enforce this we will be shut down. Please help us out by heading home as soon as you're done shopping!
A huge THANK YOUtoALLthe city officials who were involved in helping us pull together the market last weekend. They will be making sure that the socialdistancingguidelines are being followed and tending to the flow of traffic each Saturday! We could not do this without them!
Please limit the amount of people who are shopping with you.
Please keep your interactions with others to a minimum.
Please wear masks and gloves when shopping.
Please ask vendors for help with their product–– remember: you touch it, you buy it!
Please stay home if you are not feeling well or if someone in your house is sick.
And, ABOVE ALL, please follow these guidelines to make the market community as safe as we can and limit the complaints!
