Dear Library Patrons,
The Library is currently scheduled to reopen on Monday, May 4th. We will notify you if that changes.
At this time, all May programming is cancelled.
We want to remind you that you will not be accruing any overdue fines at this time, and that the due dates of your materials have been extended. This current extension is to the end of May, so please do not worry. We notice some of you have been leaving your homes to return your materials. This is
not necessary.
We have a new website! Check it out at
wellfleetlibrary.org! There you will see our paid services on the home page, as well as links to resources for COVID-19, information on food, free things to do on the web, and more. We also have two new resources! First is
Hoopla, which is a service brought to us by the generosity of the Friends of the Wellfleet Library. Hoopla has eBooks, audio books, movies, and television programs. The other service is the consumer version of the New York Times. We are ironing out a few glitches, but this should be up and running shortly.
As a reminder, we continue to have Wifi in our parking lot, 24/7.
This month, we are presenting our first virtual program! Ben Fairbank will be coming to you live from his garden on Saturday, April 18th. See more information on the flier below. This is an exciting new format for us, and we are looking forward it!
